I can't get excited about award shows. Quite frankly, no one deserves an Emmy this year because there hasn't been a good show since Seinfeld. This Raymond stuff is trash, that housewife show is trash, reality tv (save American Idol) is trash, tv movies are trash, it's all trash. The writing is poor, the acting is subpar, I don't understand how anyone who won can sleep at night knowing how awful tv has become.

My friend, let me introduce you to Lost!
The writing is above average, the actors are superb, the plots are intruiging, and the mysteries mind-bending!

I can't get into that kind of show. If it's good that's fine, it's only one show. There are a hundred others that a dreadful, which is a shame. This is the first period in TV history where there aren't a least half a dozen shows that are worth watching. Going back to the 50's, there were always a handful of good shows on, we just don't have that anymore.

I'm not qualified, I can't write anything creative. I could do talk radio but I could never write sitcoms.
