Wanna be a TV Host?

Home renovation programs are one of the biggest things nowdays. Started by Trading Spaces, this phenomenon has spread to pretty much the rest of The Learning Channel (learn how to... paint! and, uh... paint your neighbor's house!). ABC cashed in with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, a tearjerker that continues to pull in terrific ratings.

But do some of the host annoy you? Do you ever feel like saying "oh, just shaddup"? Feel like you can do it even better than a Ty or a Paige? Well, does Martha Stewart have the oppertunity of a lifetime for YOU!

Martha Steward Living Omnemedia is looking for a host for an upcoming home renovation show. Requirements are:
- must have extensive experience and/or passion/knowledge of home renovation
- have television experience a plus but not necessary
- available for shooting beginning in September for 3 months
- must be lively and energetic but also compassionate and able to interact with a diverse group of women
- male or female of any age

So there you have it. A TV host resume. Next winter/spring when you hear about Martha Stewart's new TV renovation program, remember - you heard about it at the Delta Institute first! (and you applied, but apparently snarky humor and snide commentary wasn't the type of hosting abilities they were looking for. But that's OK, 'cause you're better than them, and you didn't want to be a star anyways, and who needs a paycheck from Martha Stewart anyways, and....)
