Dow Closes Above 11,000

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 11,000 points on Monday, bringing the markets to their highest close since the September 11, 2001 attacks. The Dow closed at 11,011.90 points, up 52.59 for the day. The NASDAQ hit 2318.69, up 13.07 points for the session. And the S&P was better by almost 5 points, closing the day at 1290.15 points.
