Communism is cuuuuute!

Okay, so China impliments a couple socio-economic reforms, and suddenly they feel the right they can go all Japan like on us with animated characters? Not so fast, buster! Not until you take that communist trash out to the dumpster! The 5 mascots for the 2008 Summer Olympic games in Beijing were unveiled Friday. The mascots are a cartoon panda (Jing Jing), a Tibetan antelope (Ying Ying), a fish (Bei Bei), a swallow (Ni Ni), and the Olympic flame (Huan Huan). And, of course, each one is a color of the Olympic rings.
Apparently, put those names together, scramble, and you get "Beijing welcomes you!" Gah! That's even cuter!
