My Firefox Weather.com extension is trying to use scare tactics on me now. For the "Now" forecast, it says "Showers in the Vicinity".
Fellow countrymen, take up your arms! There are now showers in the vicinity. Be vigilant, do not hesitate, and if you see the showers that are in the vicinity, shoot to kill.
...... For those of you just joining us, there are reports that there ARE showers in the vicinity. Stay tuned to this webpage for the latest on this extremely serious development.

Why should we hang the lanterns? They didn't do anything.
Anon, I shall qouote *ahem* one if by land, and two if by sea, and I on the opposite shore shall be, ready to ride and spread the alarm to every middlesex, village and farm, for the country folk to be up and to arm!! as you can see, the lanterns are of GREAT importance!!
