For the Entertainment Junkies...

File Under: Emmy Scoop
For those of us who only slightly pretend not to actually enjoy following the entertainment industry, and for those of us who publically declare I don't like award shows, then watch all 3 hours straight (so far, that describes, well, myself!), this is a pretty funky Emmy nominee analysis site!

They even tell what episode were submitted for consideration. For Terry O'Quinn in Lost, they submitted Locke's first episode, and The Moth. The latter of which is only an OK episode, but the former should guarantee a Emmy. Fellow Lost cast-member Naveen Andrews is great, but he can't hold a candle to O'Quinn in Walkabout.

And others are guaranteed to lose. Jennifer Garner, what were you and your reps thinking? Using the finale as your submission? The finale that, if it weren't for the final 2 zombie-free, kinda shocking minutes, would go down as the worst episode of any program in TV history? (if she wins, it'll be because the voters have seen other episodes of Alias. Because Before the Flood is a stinker!)

Lost seems ready to sweep the Emmy's. And in TDI's opinion, it's a well-earned sweep. Season 1 was a very strong season, with only a few less-than-exceptional episodes. But even then, most had a suprise twist, or something to tease your brain for another week.

Season 2 of Lost premieres on Wednesday, September 21. (ABC, I'll take my check for PR services now!)
