File Under: Upheaval! Chaos! Live coverage!
Tonight, at 9 pm EDT, President George W. Bush, of the United States of America, will be announcing his nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States of America at a press conference. The nominee will be present. The announcement will last approximately 10 minutes. There will be no questions taken at the event.

Networks are scambling to determine if they are covering the event or not. So far, NBC has decided to air a special report with Brian Williams. The cable news networks will be covering the announcement.

Sandra Day O'Connor announced her retirement a few weeks ago, and talk of Bush's nominee has been the subject of heated speculations among Capitol Hill members for quite some time.

What will likely happen: Someone will be nominated who is not a household name.
What'd be fun to see: Teddy Keneddy. Hey, they've been saying a Senator might be named, haven't they?

Y'know, he could nominate Ted Kennedy and I wouldn't be in the least bit surpised.
