eBay tip: The simpler the item, the more $$$

It's a great strategy. Have something very, very simple that people see on eBay, and their like, oh, I can't believe I don't own that! Something like, a Mason Jar, filled with air. Oh, but not ANY old air. Celebrity air!

It's on eBay right now, and it's selling for $2,000,100. Description from the auction page: "You are bidding on ONE Jar of Celebrity Air which was captured at the movie premiere of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. This jar is a wide mouth, one-quart sized mason jar, which was cleaned and sterilized prior to being brought to the collection site, the premiere of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" which was held on June 7, 2005 in Westwood Village, California."

And he has pictures showing the sealing of the jar and everything. You know, sometimes, at a garage sale, you can get that same kind of jar for less than a dollar. $2,000,100? That jar better be indistructable!

Ebay removed the item, which is kinda funny. Seems to me that if you're stupid enough to spend a cool two million on a mason jar full of "celebrity air", you kinda deserve to be taken in. What I want to know is what exactly one would do with celebrity air anyway?
