Zoo to educate people on poop

The Miami Metrozoo has opened a new exhibit called "The Scoop on Poop," based on author/photographer Wayne Lynch's book about the way animals and humans use their waste. The exhibit includes information on tribes that use poop to cover their houses, people using it as fuel or fertilizer, and how long it would take an African elephant to excrete the equivalent of your body weight. The zoo spokesman thinks that this exhibit is a "cool message" and that everyone should be more educated on this subject.

Air Force memorial dedicated this weekend

At long last, there is now an official memorial for the men and women of the Air Force. Located in Arlington, Va., the memorial features three stainless steel spires that soar skyward, the tallest of which reaches 270 feet. The memorial was designed by James Ingo Freed and is meant to be representative of "flight and the flying spirit of the Air Force." A picture of the new memorial is attached below.

M&M's lead to retrieval of Munch masterpiece?

Police in Norway announced today that they have recovered two masterpieces by the artist Edvard Munch that were stolen two years ago from a museum in Oslo. The pieces recovered were Munch's Madonna and the iconic The Scream. Police have remain tight-lipped on how the art was recovered or who stole them.

One prevailing theory is that a convicted bank robber tipped the police off, saying that he pulled off a big heist to distract the police away from the art museum.

There was a reward of $2 million for information leading to the retrieval of the masterpieces. In addition, the company that produces the candy M&M's recently added an additional bonus of 2 million dark chocolate M&M's to the pot.
