When it comes to flu shots, the earlier, the better

It's that time of the year as we anticipate kids sledding and building snowmen. But with the winter wonderlands come the winter flu's, causing us to feel ill, miss work and wait in the doctor's office for medication. One way many people avoid that hassle is to get a flu shot. If you are one of those people, experts advise that you don't wait until the season is in full swing to get immunized. Instead, get a shot in October or November, when flu shots are readily available.
