Tom Cruise weirds us out with Suri's birth certificate

Over the past week, celebrity gossip magazines suddenly realized that they don't have a picture of Suri Cruise, the love child of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Reports are coming out that not even Tom Cruise's best friends have seen the child, that something "always comes up" when they're about to come over. And now, the legacy of Suri Cruise gets even odder. TMZ.com, a major celebrity investigative and gossip website, uncovered Suri's birth certificate.

At St. John's Hospital, where Suri was born, they have a policy of filing birth certificates within 10 days of birth. However, this certificate was not filed until 20 days after birth. Reportedly, the delay was because they heeded a signature from the parents or a representative of the parents, and that person did not come in until May 4. The person who signed is labeled "friend," and the signature is not legible.

Also, the "Attendant of Certifier" who signed the certificate was not in the delivery room and didn't see the baby. However, this person is authorized to sign when a doctor is available, the hospital told TMZ.

That silly Tom Cruise. He can't even make his baby's birth certificate seem like something normal. For all two of you who actually care, you should probably expect photos of Suri to come out when Cruise decides to start hyping his next feature film. (Read TMZ's full report)
