"Newleyweds" No More

It's official: Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are both on the market again. Back in December, the couple filed for divorce after three years of marriage. Papers filed Friday in Superior Court show that the pop stars are "restored to the status of single, unmarried persons." In May, Lachey released his second solo CD, "What's Left of Me," in which he sings about the pain of the pair's breakup. Jessica Simpson has spent her time not being like her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson. According to Nick Lachey, Jessica insisted that she wanted to break-up, while he wanted to save the marriage. Jessica, however, thought that the word "Divorce" was a French delicacy. (I'm joking, though I don't think I'm too far off, sadly.)
