Narnia Overcomes Skull Island

The battle has been extremely fierce, and for this weekend, Aslan beat out the mighty Kong at the box office. The C.S. Lewis classic edged out ahead of the gigantic ape by just over $1 million. Steven Spielberg's Munich, currently in limited release, slide from 8th to 10th place overall, though it did make slightly more money. Munich is currently playing on just 532 screens. At the Box Office was delayed, due to studio estimates being postponed for the holiday.
