Stocks 7/52
When the closing bell rang on Friday, December 2, stocks ended the week mixed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Standard and Poor's index were down moderately, while the tech-fueled Nasdaq left the week with some modest gains. In other economic news, 215,000 new employees were hired by nonfarm employers, the Department of Labor announced in it's monthly report. The unemployment rate is holding steady at 5%.
