Aslan Can't Beat Kong

It was close. It was very close. But in the end, studio estimates have King Kong beating The Chronicles of Narnia by a very slim margin. Meaning? That a large ape beating up dinosaurs is more marketable than a lion battling an ice queen. OK, fine, it's more of a tie, so it doesn't actually prove anything about marketability. But I managed to kill enough time and space to justify having that graphic there! W00t! Here are your Christmas weekend box office results. And if you were hoping for a terrific weekend, especially one where new movies made more than previously-released films, well, you'll have to wait at least one more week.
