Thwarted Again!

Police in Australia arrested 15 terrorist suspects in a string of raids early Tuesday. Police say that they are "satisfied" that they have disrupted the "final stages of a large scale terrorist attack. . . here in Australia." That word coming from New South Wales Police Commissioner Ken Moroney, who said that 400 officers were involved in raids in Sydney that captured six men, while nine more were picked up in Melbourne. One lawyer representing eight of those arrested said that most of his clients had been charged with being members of a banned organization. Police declined to give details of the likely target, but they did say that next year's Commonwealth Games in Melbourne were not a target.
