Tragedy in the New York Waters

A cruise boat carrying around 47 people has overturned in Lake George, New York, late Sunday afternoon. The boat is a 40-foot long Ethan Allan boat, run by Shoreline Cruises. FOX News is reporting that there may be 19 dead as a result of the accident. It may have been a senoirs cruise. There is no official word yet on what caused the boat to overturn. 11 pm UPDATE: Estimates now have 20 dead as a result of the accident. The tour boat capsized after being caught in the wake of a larger boat. Most tourist were thought to have been Canadians, with the exception of a few Michiganders. Locals say that the tour company has had a very good track record, and express sadness over this tragic accident.
