Here are the earnings for theatrical movie releases for the weekend of October 21 - 23, 2005. The movie adaption of video-game legend Doom took the top spot with over $15 million. Dreamer, starring Dakota Fanning, won the second place spot with over $9 million. It has been a slow couple of weeks at the Box Office, as people take a breather between the summer season, and the holiday rush. (click here for TDI's November movie preview) Dispite heavy online promotion, the Kiera Knightly flick Domino flopped, coming in at 11th place with $2,375,000 million. It played in 2,223 theaters. (Dreamer played in 216 fewer theaters)
