Updates on "Lost"
For those who saw IMDB's complete cast listings for the season 2 premiere of "Lost", and believe them, please, PLEASE consider this: they haven't even begun to write the scripts. Did 'ya actually think that they would have a COMPLETE guest cast list? One or two characters, maybe. Casting is still going on. But people like "background guy #3"? Not until a month before shooting, folks.
So just to restate, Tina Wesson (age 44), who won an edition of Survivor, will not be playing Alex Rousseau. (Alex is assumed to be about 16 years old.) And Samuel L. Jackson, as cool as he'd be on this show, is not going to be playing Rose's husband, Bernard. We'll still hope they can cast him as a recurring.
But joining the cast as a regular is (spoiler: highlight to read) Michelle Rodriguez. She played Ana-Lucia, the person flirting with Jack at the airport, who was complaining about being in the tail section.
For the season 1 DVD box set to be release in early September, one of the deleted scenes will be a flashback from the finale, which shows the (now deceased) pilot interacting with a very-pregnant Claire. Remember the days of "eternally pregnent Claire"? Those were fun...
Also, expect Hurley to be alot lighter next year. Jorgie Garcia recently said that he's lost 30 pounds, and plans to lose another 100 by the end of the year. Guess the island will have a slimming effect on Hurley after all!
