MSNBC's Ratings

TVNewser has full ratings for Tuesday night. But we're going to look at MSNBC, and look specifically at their new program, The Situation w/Tucker Carlson:

5 pm: Connected Coast to Coast 151,000 viewers
6 pm: The Abrams Report 205,000 viewers
7 pm: Hardball w/Chris Matthews 330,000 viewers
8 pm: Countdown w/Keith Olbermann 459,000 viewers (O'Reilly: 2,722,000 Hehe.)
9 pm: The Situation w/Tucker Carlson 231,000 viewers
(Monday, Jackson verdict, premiere: 452,000)
10 pm: Scarborough Country 325,000 viewers

FNC's primetime numbers: 2,722,000/2,016,000/1,864,000
CNN's primetime numbers: 718,000/1,277,000/751,000
CNN Headline News #'s: 538,000/292,000/337,000
CNBC's primetime numbers: 111,000/100,000/110,000

Notice how everybody else still manages to keep a fair chunk of their 8 pm audience for the 9 o'clock program. But the NEW show, branded as "smart news" (but with graphics straight out of a skateboarding video-game), which was promoted for a long time, lost almost half of MSNBC's audience that night.

He. Hehe.
